Super - sound absorbing capsule
Also in this field we are a well known innovative manufacturer and have designed a unique sound proof aluminium airteight capsule. Together with computer optimised adjustment of the vibration damper elements we get very good results in noise emission and silent running. The user-friendly way of splitting of the super-sound absorbing capsule makes inspection a cinch.

The water-cooled generator
The core of SET generators have been specially designed to be fresh water-cooled. The asynchronous designed SET generators are built with the latest materials and production methods, being virtually maintenance free as there are no brushes, sliprings or diodes. Only SET asynchronous generators, with protection class IP 54 (protection against dirt and water) can offer safe installation in any location. This is very important for the safety in vehicle market.

General safety
The generating sets within Camino range are built to Class IP 54 spec., Ensuring that all rotating parts and live components are insulated and protected. A thorough test and inspection procedure is carried out on all Generating sets to provide complete safety during installation and
operation.

Cooling system
Also in this field we set the benchmark. The Camino range of vehicle generators incorporates a unique dual circuit cooling system, which allows the generator and engine to be cooled individually for optimum performance. This cooling system extends the life expectancy of the engine and generator, due to lower temperature levels. The radiators are mounted separately, i. e. more flexibility on installation.There are different versions.
Engine
The generators are driven by powerful smooth running water cooled Diesel engines, which are specially modified by our highly qualified engineers, with the engine manufacturers full approval.
Basic – Control Panel
Operating of the generating set is controlled by the remote panel designed by SET, which
incorporates the following functions:

  • battery load
  • hours meter
  • engine oil pressure
  • Bilge (water in capsule)
  • Engine temperature
  • Generator temperature

If required all SET vehicle generators can be mounted with al fully automatic control panel.
