The MPW marine generator is equipped with a 6-piece aluminium super sound absorption capsule. In connection with the computer-optimized arrangement of vibration absorption elements, we achieved outstandingly low sound emission values and quit running.
The integrated know-over limitation mechanism of the vibration metals prevents the knock off, even during bad weather. The user-oriented separation of the super sound absorption capsule facilitates inspections and maintenance.

The water-cooled generator, engineered by SET, is the heart of the MPW marine generator. The generators, produced under most modern manufacturing methods, are absolutely maintenance-free. These asynchronous generators do have neither brushes nor slip rings or diodes.
Our asynchronous generators with the protection class IP 54 (protection against dirt, the ingression of dirt, water and the formation of salty deposits) allow a safe installation at any place. In the marine sector, this is of highest priority for the safety of the ship, and persons on the board. All parts, which come into contact with sea-water, are made of sea-water resistant aluminium, and have also been chemically finished. Sacrificial anodes safe the system in addition.
All MPW marine generators are equipped with an electronic control panel, including the 5 m cable.
